Note the irregular white deposits at the periphery, separated from the limbus by a gutter. Cause unknown. The problem is a slow progressive shift in refraction. It's too late once it has happened. All we can do is low-dose long-term steroids, and avoid ANY surgery unless absolutely necessary.$
